Session 6: Understanding File Types

In this session, different types of digital files are explored, along with how to identify them using file extensions such as .pdf, .jpg, .mp3, and .mp4. The uses of each file type are explained—for documents, images, audio, video, and compressed folders—as well as the applications needed to open them. By the end of the session, there is a clear understanding of common file types and how to choose the most suitable format for different tasks.
